After Liverpool’s 3-1 victory against Leicester, Mohamed Salah was asked about the team’s chances of winning the league title this season.
“This year feels different. I want to win the Premier League, we really want to win it.
“Let’s do it! But remember that the most important thing is to keep working and stay humble.”
This would’ve been a casual post-match comment if it wasn’t for that last line. Salah repeated Erling Haaland’s quote that he said to Mikel Arteta after Man City equalized against Arsenal.
Fans think Salah didn’t do it accidentally – they believe Mohamed said it on purpose to troll Haaland.
“I can see a message to Haaland there”
“He cooked Haaland”
“Did you hear Salah? To stay humble… Not saying it to another coach”
