After the final whistle that ended the Premier League game between Liverpool and Tottenham, loud boos were heard at Anfield as fans were unhappy with the 1-1 draw.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Arne Slot admitted that he was not surprised by the fans’ reaction.
“No, I think it is completely normal. If the team you are supporting drop so many points against teams you don’t expect them to so many times in the last seconds of a game then I think we all feel a lot of frustration.
“They have experienced this far too many times, more times than they are used to and that is completely normal that they show their frustration. The frustration is felt by me, by the players and also by our fans.
“I’m 100% sure that if they show up on Wednesday [against Galatasaray in the Champions League] that they will be supportive again from the start but if the team doesn’t perform to the standards that they are used to, I think it is completely normal that they are frustrated.”
