Yan Diomande is the archetype of modern football’s exciting new generation — a 19-year-old winger whose explosive talent has Europe’s elite clubs circling.
With 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 Bundesliga appearances for RB Leipzig from either flank, the Ivorian international has rapidly established himself as one of the continent’s most coveted young stars. Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Manchester United are all reported to be monitoring the player closely.

Liverpool supporters have particular reason to be excited. Diomande has previously voiced his admiration for the club. “I want to play at Anfield, I want to play for Liverpool,” he said earlier this year. “I’m a big fan of Liverpool… my father’s dream is to see me play at Anfield. So that’s my dream.
He later clarified that his father also supports reigning European champions PSG, but the affection for Liverpool remains clear. While a move would require significant investment — reports suggest a fee north of £87 million — Diomande’s contract runs until 2030, and Leipzig chairman Oliver Mintzlaff has indicated reluctance to sell at any price.
