Alexander Isak will return to Liverpool from international duty after suffering a minor injury, ruling him out of Sweden’s three remaining fixtures during the current international break.
The Liverpool striker will now leave the Sweden camp and return to his club, where he will be assessed by the medical staff at the AXA Training Centre.Isak had been expected to feature for Sweden during the remainder of the international window, but the injury means he will instead begin his recovery under Liverpool’s supervision.
