After losing out on Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko, who has chosen to sign a one-year contract extension with RB Leipzig that would keep him with the team until 2029, Arsenal feel at ease.

Arsenal was never really surprised by the news, as staying at Leipzig was always an option.

They put forth a compelling offer that, in their opinion, Sesko would have accepted before Chelsea and Manchester United had he made the decision to depart. Though there had been weeks of speculation about Sesko’s future, Edu always knew he was not in any hurry to go anyplace.

Sesko thinks another season in Leipzig is beneficial for his development, having scored eighteen goals in all competitions during the previous campaign. Further, even though his new contract has no official release clause, he is still free to go in the summer under the terms of the gentleman’s agreement.

Gunners aim for Zirkzee and Gyokeres Stars from Sporting and Bologna are considered as substitutes for Slovenian forward Arsenal is considering a number of strikers, including Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna, Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres, who The Mirror claims could cost £68.5 million and has been called a “game-changer” by Statman Dave on X.

The latter is distinctly in the style of Olivier Giroud. Milan is still in the lead and working hard to get his signature, but Arsenal would be worth keeping an eye on things if something goes wrong. Arsenal is continuously looking to bolster their midfield.

They want to add someone to go along with Declan Rice. Rice can play as a No. 6 or No. 8, and Arsenal’s strategy will depend on how they define him, at least on paper. Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad is still a possibility.

Persuading Zubimendi to leave Sociedad is the difficult part. Despite having a €60 million release clause, the 25-year-old is content both on and off the field.

Martin Zubimendi, a defensive midfielder for Real Sociedad, in action Another historical target, Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa, is still unsigned by Arsenal.

Juventus is presently negotiating a possible agreement, although they are unable to pay for a transfer with just cash.

Weston McKennie might be made available in a trade involving cash and players. Joao Neves of Benfica and Bruno Guimarães of Newcastle are two more players that Arsenal values.
