The 28-year-old scored an 87th-minute equaliser to ensure the Reds drew 2-2 against Fulham as Arne Slot’s men came back from behind twice.
It was Jota’s first appearance since the 20 October fixture against Chelsea where he suffered a muscle injury that has kept him out of action.
The Portugal international has missed 12 games in all competitions since then, but he made it clear on Instagram that he’s back and ready to make a positive impact.
Jota said, “I’m here to fight,” as he made his feelings clear about his future at the football club moving forward.
The versatile forward had been a key part of Slot’s team prior to his injury, having started six of the eight Premier League games, he was available for.
