According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have agreed on personal terms with Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi. The Reds are confident on agreeing a transfer fee of around £35 million for Guehi, despite the Eagles having rejecting a £65 million offer from Newcastle for the English defender last summer. Guehi led Palace to FA Cup and Community Shield wins in the last three months and has been a season-long target for the Reds. The deal will see Liverpool’s summer spending rise to almost £300 million.
