Liverpool fans have called out one player online after his poor performance during the thrilling 2-2 draw with Fulham in the Premier League.
On Saturday afternoon, Liverpool’s title charge took a blow as they drew 2-2 an impressive Fulham side in a thrilling match at Anfield.
An early red card for defender Andrew Robertson took Liverpool down to ten men and turned the tide of the match.
However, there was one other player that Liverpool fans have called out on social media due to his performance during the Premier League clash.
After coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute, young defender Jarrell Quansah was immediately put under pressure as he played a key role in allowing Fulham substitute Rodrigo Muniz to score and put the visitors ahead.
The Englishman continued to look uncomfortable throughout the remainder of the match, leading some fans to take to social media platform X to voice their frustrations.
Reacting Quansah’s performance in the game, one fan wrote: “I don’t know what happened to Quansah over the summer but this is not the same player we saw last season.
“He makes a howler every 10 minutes.
Another agreed, adding: “Quansah has been criminal this season absolutely criminal.”
While one asked: “Holy s*** when’s konate back I can’t watch Quansah anymore.”
And one frustrated fan wrote: “Does Quansah even know how to play football what am I watching?”
After starting the first match of the season against Ipswich Town, Quansah has struggled to find a regular place in the Liverpool lineup, despite impressing under Jurgen Klopp last season.
The 21-year-old has made just six appearances for the Reds across all competitions this season, with almost all of them as a substitute.
Although Liverpool remain on top of the Premier League table after the match, the result gives second place Chelsea the opportunity to cut their gap on the League leaders to just two points if they can get a win over Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Meanwhile Manchester City can also bring themselves within six points of Liverpool should they be able to best local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad.
