Liverpool are one of FOUR huge clubs ‘competing’ to sign a former Manchester United player, according to stunning reports.

A busy summer could be in store for Liverpool, who have only signed Federico Chiesa in the last two transfer windows.
The Reds are believed to be eyeing a new forward, with Darwin Nunez linked with a stunning swap deal for a Premier League star.
And, according to reports in Spain, a new name has emerged as a potential target for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window reopening.
Per Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool are interested in signing Mason Greenwood.
It is claimed that Liverpool are one of four clubs ‘competing’ to sign the Marseille forward, who joined the club from Man United last summer.
Barcelona, who are continuing to keep an eye on Greenwood, Bayern Munich and Juventus are also in the mix.
The 23-year-old joined the French side in a deal worth £26.6 million and has enjoyed a prolific spell with his new team.
This season, Greenwood has scored 15 goals in all competitions, including 14 league goals in 23 matches.
Marseille are aware of Greenwood’s value and have slapped a whopping £62 million asking price on his head.
The figure could be too much for Barca, but Liverpool, Bayern and Juve are all ‘willing to pay’ the fee.
Greenwood was briefly linked with Barca before he signed for Marseille.
He scored 10 goals for Getafe during his loan spell following his move away from Old Trafford.
His performances in France’s top flight have alerted Europe’s elite as he is said to be ‘back on the agenda of the biggest clubs on the planet’.
