Of course, their arrivals have led to speculation surrounding the future of Rodrygo, with the winger seemingly the most likely of Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded attack to see their game time compromised.
While Rodrygo has insisted on several occasions he is happy with the La Liga giants, Catalan publication Nacional has claimed Liverpool are contemplating a swap deal involving the Real star and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold, who has just a year remaining on his Liverpool contract, has been linked with Real over the past few months.
Rodrygo, who scored 17 goals and registered nine assists in his 51 games last term, is valued by the CIES Football Observatory at £170million, while Real would allegedly not accept an offer south of £100million.
However, a swap deal could allegedly be on the cards, with Real president Florentino Perez having cited Alexander-Arnold as the ideal successor to the 32-year-old Dani Carvajal.
