Liverpool seal Frimpong deal
Liverpool have wasted no time in securing their first signing of the summer with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong set to arrive at the club. According to The Athletic, the Dutchman has agreed a five-year deal with the Premier League champions.
Liverpool are set to activate a €35million (£29.6m) release clause written into his contract with the German side. Frimpong is also set to undergo a medical with his potential new club.
Frimpong has been with Leverkusen since a move from Celtic in January 2021. He helped the side to the Bundesliga crown last term.
