Paddy Pimblett Tells Trent Alexander-Arnold Not to Attend Liverpool Title Parade

Written by admin

Paddy Pimblett has warned Trent Alexander-Arnold and told the defender not to show up at Liverpool’s title parade in an astonishing, furious rant. After spending his entire career at Anfield, the Englishman recently revealed he planned on leaving the Reds once his contract expired this summer. He announced he’d be leaving for free and joining Real Madrid when he becomes a free agent. It was news that wasn’t entirely surprising for fans.

With his contract running down, speculation about Alexander-Arnold’s exit had been circulating all season and with news about Real Madrid taking an interest, it was considered a foregone conclusion that he’d be joining Los Blancos for nothing at the end of the campaign. Still, that didn’t mean the news hurt fans any less and they voiced their frustration with him after.

During a match against Arsenal, the Anfield crowd showered Alexander-Arnold with boos and while his teammates such as Mohamed Salah think the treatment has been harsh, UFC superstar Paddy Pimblett clearly doesn’t agree and has told the 26-year-old to stay away from the club’s Premier League title parade.

Pimblett Aimed Savage Rant At Alexander-Arnold

While this campaign is set to be Alexander-Arnold’s last at Anfield, he’s going out with a bang after Liverpool won the Premier League title for just the second time ever. Now, though, it’s all ending on a sour note and UFC star Pimblett has demanded that he doesn’t even show his face at the parade being held to celebrate their title victory.

During an interview with ESPN, the subject of Alexander-Arnold and his upcoming Liverpool exit was raised, and the lightweight contender didn’t hold back. Speaking about the right-back, Pimblett said:

“I’ve never ever in my life seen one of our players get booed. That’s how you know it’s real. It’s standard. If you’re going to string your club along… You’re meant to be a scouser, lad. Van Dijk and Salah are now more scousers than he is, simple as that. They were talking all year about wanting to stay, wanting to sign a new contract. He just didn’t do an interview about it because he knew he was leaving.

“Even that pitiful video he put out. Reading a teleprompter. Nothing that he said was from his heart. He didn’t even get emotional, if I was leaving Liverpool Football Club I’d be crying my eyes out. He’s forgotten where he’s come from. All the pundits and that, don’t try and tell me how I should feel. If I feel like booing him, I’ll boo him. It’s as simple as that. He shouldn’t be at the trophy parade because it will just bring the mood down.”

Considering all that Alexander-Arnold has accomplished at Anfield, he’ll be disappointed with how his Liverpool career is closing, especially with so many of the club’s supporters turning on him.
