Arne Slot has come out to say that he won’t feature Liverpool star again after costing Liverpool 3 points against Nottingham Forest.
Arne Slot has stated that he will no longer play the Liverpool star after the player’s costly performance in the defeat against Nottingham Forest.
He added, “If I keep playing him, he will cost us the league title. He will never start for Liverpool again while I am still the manager, unless I’m sacked.
Liverpool’s squad for the early part of the 2024-2025 season includes five promising young players of Nigerian descent: Emmanuel Airoboma (17), Louis Enahoro-Marcus (18), Lucky Omoruyi (18), Rio Ngumoha (16), and Folami Onanuga (18).
All are eligible for the U21 team, as players under 21 do not count toward the Premier League’s 25-man squad limit.
Ngumoha, a recent transfer from Chelsea, has joined Liverpool’s U18s but has already trained with both the first team and development squad during the international break.
