Florian Wirtz had an inspired return to Germany as he played a key role in Liverpool’s 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.
The German midfielder was finally able to end his poor run, managing to assist two goals for the Reds in an impressive display.
However, Wirtz actually had a huge chance to score his first Liverpool goal towards the final minutes of the game.
In the 90th minute, Mo Salah was played through inside the box and he had Wirtz right close to him with an open net in front of him.
However, rather than simply squaring it to Wirtz, Salah decided to go for glory himself and ended up seeing his effort saved.
