The Dutchman posted a photo of the Anfield crowd on his Instagram story, writing: “Sunday. Celebrating together as one. Look how good you guys looked all in red. An incredible day.”
While Van Dijk had already celebrated the title win with a brief post following the final whistle, he took the time to send a more personal message to the fans who have supported the team all season.
For much of the campaign, his future at the club appeared uncertain, as he approached the final year of his contract. However earlier this month Liverpool confirmed that Van Dijk had agreed a new deal along with Salah.
The centre-back has been a pivotal figure in Slot’s first season in charge, forming a strong defensive partnership with Ibrahima Konate.
The Reds ended the campaign with the highest number of clean sheets in the Premier League, with both Alisson and Caoimhin Kelleher playing key roles in the team’s defensive success.

With the league title secured and key players like Van Dijk and Salah tied down to new contracts, the Reds are now turning their attention to summer recruitment.
