Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Florian Wirtz amid growing unease at Liverpool over the German playmaker’s struggles since his big-money arrival.
Wirtz arrived at Anfield with a glowing reputation after starring for Bayer Leverkusen, but the transition to the Premier League has been difficult. The 23-year-old has yet to consistently show the creativity and impact that made him one of Europe’s most sought-after talents.

In his first four Premier League appearances this season, Wirtz has recorded zero goals and one assist. Against Fulham he was again subdued, managing three shots, no successful dribbles and an 83% pass completion rate.
After more than a year at the club, the lack of clear progress is becoming harder to ignore. Liverpool face difficult decisions in the coming months: persist with the high-cost signing in the hope of a breakthrough, or explore a sale while his value remains relatively high.
