Hungary national team defender Bendegúz Bolla left the pitch early in the second matchday of the Nations League against Northern Ireland.
The 26-year-old started for the team for the second match in a row and suffered an injury in the 31st minute after a challenge with Irish midfielder Isaac Price, who accidentally struck his ankle.After receiving medical assistance, Bendegúz was unable to continue playing – he was replaced by Attila Osváth in the 34th minute.Bolla was also unable to leave the pitch on his own – he was carried off on a stretcher.
The right-back played the full match against Ukraine (0:1) at the start of the Nations League. He has made 38 appearances for the national team, providing two assists.
