Liverpool fans have another reason to worry about Alexis Mac Allister’s future at Anfield after the Argentine midfielder made fresh comments about his unresolved contract situation! 😬🔴
The Liverpool star has insisted that his focus remains on giving his best for the club, but his latest words have left plenty of questions about what could happen next as European giants continue to monitor his situation.
Speaking about his previous comments regarding his future, Mac Allister admitted that his earlier remarks were driven by his emotions and personal feelings.
“When I said what I said, it was more emotion and my feelings…”
However, it was his next statement that caught the attention of Liverpool supporters.
“It’s their decision and that’s fine for me. I will try my best in the games and in training.”
Those words have sparked fresh discussions among Reds supporters, with many eager to know whether Liverpool will offer the World Cup winner a new contract or risk allowing uncertainty to continue.
🔴 WHY LIVERPOOL FANS ARE WORRIED
Mac Allister reportedly felt disappointed earlier this season after Liverpool had yet to offer him a new deal, particularly after fellow midfielders Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch committed their futures to the club.
The Argentine international, who still has two years remaining on his current contract according to the report, previously admitted that leaving Liverpool was a possibility during the summer transfer window before deciding to stay and continue giving everything for the Reds.
Now, with contract talks still a major talking point, Liverpool face an important decision over one of their key midfielders.
💣 REAL MADRID, CHELSEA AND MANCHESTER CLUBS WATCHING?
Real Madrid have long been linked with Mac Allister, and the Spanish giants could view the situation as an opportunity if Liverpool fail to secure his long-term future.
Chelsea have also been credited with interest in the midfielder, while Manchester United and Manchester City have previously been linked with a potential move.
At 27, Mac Allister remains an important figure for club and country, and his quality in midfield makes his contract situation one Liverpool supporters will be watching closely.
🔥 HIS PERFORMANCE ON THE PITCH MAKES THE SITUATION EVEN MORE INTERESTING!
Mac Allister recently delivered a stunning performance against Villarreal in the Champions League, scoring twice in Liverpool’s 4-3 victory at Anfield.
His display was another reminder of the quality he brings to the team, making the uncertainty surrounding his future even more concerning for the Reds faithful.
For Liverpool, the priority will be finding a solution that keeps the midfielder happy while protecting the club’s long-term plans.
For now, Mac Allister says he will continue working hard in training and giving his best whenever he plays. But with Real Madrid and other top clubs reportedly monitoring the situation, the coming months could prove crucial.
👀 LIVERPOOL FANS, WHAT SHOULD THE CLUB DO?
Should Liverpool move quickly to offer Alexis Mac Allister a new contract, or do you think the club should wait before making a decision?
And if Real Madrid come calling, would you be worried about losing one of Liverpool’s most important midfielders?
