36.3 KM/H! ABSOLUTE PACE! 🤯🔥
Ronald Araujo is making Liverpool fans fall in love with him, and his latest achievement has given the Anfield faithful another reason to demand that the club sign him permanently! ❤️
The Uruguayan defender has reportedly recorded the fastest speed by any player in the Premier League this season, reaching an incredible 36.3 km/h! 💨🚀
Yes, you read that correctly! Araujo is not just a physically powerful centre-back who loves winning tackles and dominating opposition attackers. He also possesses the explosive pace needed to recover quickly, chase down dangerous forwards and help Liverpool deal with counter-attacks.
And after his outstanding performance in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Brighton at Anfield on Sunday, the Barcelona loanee is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about players among the Reds faithful. 🔴👏
🏆 90% OF THE MAN OF THE MATCH VOTES!
Araujo’s performance against Brighton was so impressive that he received a staggering 90% of the votes in Tribuna.com’s Man of the Match poll, finishing comfortably ahead of his Liverpool teammates.
That level of support reflects just how much his display impressed supporters.
The defender was dominant in physical battles, aggressive in his challenges, composed under pressure and relentless in his determination to prevent Brighton from creating dangerous opportunities.
His defensive statistics told their own story, with reports highlighting that he won 100% of his duels, made eight clearances and recorded six ball recoveries during the victory. 💪🛡️
Araujo also showed the kind of fighting spirit Liverpool supporters love to see from their defenders. He was willing to put his body on the line, attack every challenge and make life extremely difficult for Brighton’s forwards.
His incredible pace only adds another dimension to his game.
For a defender, being able to reach 36.3 km/h is a massive weapon. It allows him to cover ground quickly, recover when an opponent gets behind the defensive line and compete against some of the fastest attackers in English football.
🔴 ANDONI IRAOLA WILL LOVE WHAT HE IS SEEING!
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has every reason to be pleased with what Araujo is bringing to the team.
Following the Brighton victory, Iraola praised the defender’s fighting mentality and his ability to win physical battles, highlighting how much the team enjoys seeing him compete with such intensity.
Araujo’s aggressive defending, aerial strength, recovery speed and willingness to fight for every ball make him an important option for Liverpool’s back line.
And with Liverpool competing at the highest level, having a centre-back who can combine physical dominance with elite recovery pace could prove invaluable throughout the season.
The most encouraging part for Liverpool fans is that Araujo appears to be growing in confidence with every impressive performance.
❤️ SHOULD LIVERPOOL SIGN HIM PERMANENTLY?
This is where things get even more interesting!
Araujo is currently on loan at Liverpool from Barcelona, and the Reds reportedly have a non-obligatory €55 million option to make his move permanent in the summer of 2027.
That means Liverpool are not automatically required to complete the transfer. The club will have to decide whether his performances, overall contribution and long-term value justify activating the option.
However, if he continues delivering displays like the one against Brighton, he could make that decision increasingly difficult for the Liverpool hierarchy to ignore.
Liverpool supporters are already making their feelings clear, with fans calling for the club to secure his future at Anfield.
The combination of his defensive quality, physical presence, pace and competitive mentality makes him an exciting option for the Reds.
Of course, one outstanding performance or impressive statistic will not decide his future on its own. Consistency, fitness, the transfer fee and the club’s wider plans will all matter.
But Araujo is certainly giving Liverpool plenty of reasons to consider keeping him beyond his loan spell.
🚨 THE BIG QUESTION: HAVE LIVERPOOL FINALLY FOUND THEIR LONG-TERM DEFENSIVE BEAST?
At 36.3 km/h, with a dominant performance against Brighton and 90% of the Man of the Match votes, Ronald Araujo has sent a strong message about what he can offer this Liverpool team.
The Reds have a defender who can fight, recover, tackle and match the physical demands of Premier League football.
If he maintains this level, the conversation surrounding his future will only become louder as the summer of 2027 approaches.
Liverpool fans, be honest! 👇🔴
