Arsenal in Talks to Sign Rosenborg’s Sverre Nypan
Arsenal have opened negotiations with Norwegian club Rosenborg over a potential move for 18-year-old attacking midfielder Sverre Nypan.
Several other clubs are reportedly interested in the young talent, who also plays for Norway’s U21 team. Nypan enjoyed a standout season in the Eliteserien in 2024, making 28 appearances for Rosenborg, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
Notably, Nypan made history as the youngest player to represent Rosenborg at just 15 years and 322 days, and later became the youngest player to score in a league match for the club at 16 years and 145 days.
