Liverpool could be facing a major decision over the future of one of the most important players of the modern era, with Alisson Becker’s long-term position at Anfield reportedly becoming uncertain.
The Brazilian goalkeeper remains Liverpool’s undisputed No.1 and continues to produce crucial performances, but uncertainty over a new contract, combined with the presence of highly-rated Giorgi Mamardashvili, has once again raised questions about what comes next.
At 33, Alisson still has plenty to offer and has shown little sign of slowing down. However, with Liverpool already having a potential long-term replacement waiting in the wings, the Reds may soon have to make a difficult decision regarding their legendary goalkeeper.
Juventus Could Return for Alisson
According to Football Italia, Juventus could revive their interest in Alisson after failing to secure his signature during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool Still Have No Reason to Rush Him Out
Despite the speculation, Alisson’s performances suggest that Liverpool would have little reason to make a decision based purely on age.
The Brazilian has started every league game so far this season and was instrumental in Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Bournemouth, producing an outstanding reaction save from Evanilson.
That save earned him a Premier League Save of the Month nomination and served as another reminder of the quality he still possesses.
Alisson has also reached an impressive 138 clean sheets in 336 appearances for Liverpool, placing him fourth on the club’s all-time goalkeeper list.
Mamardashvili Adds Another Layer to the Situation
Liverpool’s long-term planning makes the situation even more interesting.
The Reds signed Giorgi Mamardashvili with the future in mind, and the Georgian goalkeeper is widely viewed as a potential successor to Alisson.
