Liverpool have reportedly joined the growing list of European giants keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich superstar Michael Olise, with the French international’s future at the Bundesliga club becoming an increasingly interesting transfer story.
The 24-year-old winger has continued to establish himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous attacking players since completing his move from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich in 2024.
His explosive performances this season have only increased the attention surrounding him, with reports claiming that Liverpool and Real Madrid are among the clubs monitoring his situation.
🔴 Liverpool Monitoring Olise
According to BILD, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Olise as they assess potential options for the future of their attack.
The Frenchman has made a sensational start to the campaign, reportedly recording eight goals and four assists in just seven appearances for Bayern.
Olise’s ability to play from the right side, create chances for teammates and contribute goals himself makes him an especially attractive option for clubs looking for an elite attacking player.
Liverpool are believed to be watching the situation closely, although there is currently no indication that a deal is close.
👀 Bayern Want To Keep Their Star
Bayern Munich have no intention of simply allowing one of their most important attacking players to leave.
The German giants are reportedly preparing to discuss a new contract with Olise, whose current agreement runs until 2029.
However, negotiations could become complicated if the player’s representatives continue to push for the inclusion of a release clause.
Such a clause could give Olise greater control over his future while potentially giving Bayern the opportunity to demand a substantial fee if another club activates it.
⚪ Real Madrid Also Watching
Liverpool are not the only European heavyweight reportedly interested.
Real Madrid are also understood to be monitoring Olise, meaning competition for the French international could become intense if he eventually becomes available.
For Liverpool, his profile would certainly be attractive. Olise can operate on the right wing, create opportunities, score goals and provide another dangerous attacking option against deep defensive blocks.
However, Bayern remain determined to keep hold of their prized asset, meaning any potential transfer would likely require a huge financial commitment.
🔥 A Transfer Story To Watch
With Olise producing outstanding numbers and attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, his future could become one of the major transfer stories to follow over the coming months.
Liverpool will reportedly continue monitoring the situation, while Bayern will look to secure the Frenchman’s long-term future.
For now, Olise remains a Bayern player — but with Liverpool and Real Madrid reportedly watching, his next contract could have a major impact on what happens next.
