Liverpool have contacted Belgian club Genk over the possibility of signing their goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans in the 2026 summer window, claims Fabrizio Romano.This comes after Nottingham Forest enquired about the possibility of signing Giorgi Mamardashvili from the Reds towards the end of the window, with Liverpool needing a replacement if that happens.The Reds are currently assessing internally on whether they want to sell Mamardashvili and sign Brughmans in the 2026 summer window or postpone a move for him in the 2027 January transfer window.The 18-year-old Brughmans recently made his senior debut for Genk, keeping one clean sheet in four appearances in the 2026/27 season so far.
