Liverpool Preparing £85m Offer for PSG Star Bradley Barcola
Liverpool are accelerating their pursuit of Bradley Barcola, with reports emerging that the club is preparing a formal offer in the region of £85 million.
French journalist Sébastien Vidal revealed on X that the Reds’ interest in the Paris Saint-Germain winger has intensified following another standout season from the 22-year-old France international. Barcola contributed 13 goals and seven assists across 49 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign.
The move comes after Liverpool’s interest in Yan Diomande cooled, with the highly-rated forward reportedly prioritising a switch to PSG. Barcola has since emerged as the club’s primary target on the flank, and negotiations appear to be gathering momentum — especially after France’s exit from the World Cup. Club-to-club talks with PSG have already begun.
Valuation Gap Remains Significant
While £85m represents a substantial bid, it may fall short of PSG’s expectations. The French champions are understood to value Barcola in excess of £110m. Given that Barcola is a more established and proven performer than Diomande (who RB Leipzig reportedly valued north of £100m), sources suggest Liverpool will likely need to move closer to, or even beyond, the £100m mark to stand a realistic chance of securing his signature.
Arsenal have so far shown no concrete interest in entering the race, despite their own summer activity.
