“I’m ready,” the Liverpool legend told talkSPORT.
“I’m not desperate, my work life balance is great right now, but if the right opportunity presents itself then I’m all ears.
” Gerrard’s career as a manager started promisingly as he led Rangers to the first Scottish league title after financial troubles led to them being relegated to the fourth tier of the football pyramid.
After that, however, he had a rather underwhelming spell in charge of Aston Villa in the Premier League and did not pull up any trees at Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
