Liverpool’s transfer reality for summer window Arne Slot has made clear that Liverpool will likely need to sell players this summer to fund incoming transfers as the club continues its transition.

“Last year we made quite a lot of signings and that’s why we traded that much. In four windows had net spend of £150m.
That says what kind of club we are,” Slot said. “We know we are changing at least two players, but Kostas is coming back.
” The Liverpool boss confirmed the primary focus is deciding how to replace Mohamed Salah.
“First aim is to see how we react in position of Mo whether we want to replace with similar player or do that differently.
At this moment of time there’s not a chance of a lot of players leaving.” Slot noted Ibrahima Konate’s contract situation remains a key talking point, adding that limited incomings could mean less need for heavy squad training.
