According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, AS Monaco have agreed a deal to appoint former Flamengo manager Filipe Luis as their new head coach.
The Principality have decided to part ways with Sebastien Pocognollo after an underwhelming season, finishing seventh in Ligue 1 and missing out on Champions League qualification.
Despite links with Bayer Leverkusen, Luis has given the green light for a move to Monaco, with a contract agreed until 2028.The 40-year-old Brazilian gaffer drew more attention following his successful two-year spell at Flamengo before being sacked in March.
