Manchester United have completed the signing of 16-year-old Isaac Konde from Liverpool, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed with his trademark “Here we go.”
All formal steps were finalised in the last 24 hours, clearing the way for the England-born prospect to leave Anfield and join United’s academy setup.
Konde, primarily a left-sided attacker who can also operate on the right wing or in midfield, featured for Liverpool’s Under-18s. He showed pace, dribbling ability and versatility in youth matches, including involvement in their 3-1 win over Chesterfield earlier this year. United had tracked him through the summer as part of their ongoing focus on recruiting and developing young talent.
The move represents another academy-to-academy transfer between the two North West rivals. Konde will continue his development at Old Trafford rather than remaining in Liverpool’s system.
